Job Summary The Retail Sales Associate creates an atmosphere in the retail store that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base. He/She will be responsible for meeting assigned sales targets by assisting customers, providing product recommendations, answering questions, alerting customers to product options and expanding sales revenues by up-selling support programs and product accessories. The Retail Sales Associate has a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers. Responsibilities and Duties Maintain appropriate inventory levels by monitoring inventory sales , creating and processing purchase orders and communicating critical inventory information to the Retail Supervisor and/or Purchasing Officer. Develop a schedule of promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more Work with vendors and manufacturers to bring in effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windows. Introduce new products that meet customer demands. Manage all controllable costs to keep operations Assist in setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor and monitoring stock levels. Develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending the appropriate products Greet and assist customers as they enter the store Utilize the company’s POS system to process customer and client transactions, generate quotes, receive payments and administer Ensure that the sales floor area is kept clean and organized at all Handle the eCommerce platform, ensuring accurate product listings, processing online orders, and providing timely customer service. Monitor WhatsApp, email, and phone lines to address customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues promptly. Science Degree in Nursing, Biology or related field preferred Computer database and productivity software skills required Strong understanding of sales and customer service techniques Demonstrated ability to maintain and work within a budget Qualification and Skills Customer Service experience preferred.
