ThryveHR is seeking an experienced full-stack developer or small engineering team to build the MVP of our wellness and growth platform, Hestiya, along with our first AI professional micro-app, KenMD. This is a large, meaningful project that combines AI, behavioral health, burnout prevention, gamification, personal growth tools, and modular architecture designed for scale. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the technical development, system architecture, and deployment of these products.
🌟 About Us
ThryveHR is building a new class of proactive burnout-prevention and personal growth tools. Our main product, Hestiya, helps users understand and manage their burnout risk, track their goals, build healthier routines, and improve their overall wellbeing using a beautifully animated flame system inspired by real burnout psychology.
Alongside Hestiya, we are launching our first professional micro-app called KenMD, an AI-powered medical doctor experience that gives users safe, contextual medical support. This will eventually expand into a full ecosystem of wellness and growth professionals such as therapists, breathwork coaches, chiropractors, fitness coaches, nutritionists, life coaches, HR managers, sales coaches, and marketing consultants.
We are hiring a developer who can build both MVPs in one unified architecture, with a modular system that allows us to easily duplicate the “professional app” model for new experts in the future. You are not just building one AI chat experience — you’re building the foundation for a multi-professional AI ecosystem.
🎯 Project Scope Overview
This contract covers two major deliverables: the Hestiya Core MVP and the KenMD MVP, both built on top of a unified platform with shared components, shared logic, and shared user identity.
The Hestiya Core MVP includes the burnout engine, the flame strength system, the daily wellness and growth signal inputs, the main dashboard, a goals and habits system, a guided daily planning tool called MyDay, a knowledgebase for curated content, subscription and authentication logic, and the full brand experience.
The KenMD MVP includes a complete AI medical doctor experience with a dedicated chat environment, a persona-driven system, content boundaries and safety settings, medical disclaimers, and the ability for users to subscribe to KenMD as a standalone product. More importantly, KenMD will also serve as the template for an entire family of future professional micro-apps. The architecture you build must support easy duplication and configuration for additional experts without needing to rewrite core code.
🔥 Hestiya MVP (Detailed Description)
The Hestiya MVP consists of several key systems working together to support a user’s wellness and personal growth.
First, you will build our Burnout Engine and Flame Strength System. This system calculates a user’s burnout risk percentage based on passive wellness signals and active growth behaviors, and then visually represents that risk through a dynamic flame. The flame has seven distinct animated stages, from a glowing ember at low flame strength to a powerful flame at high strength. It must animate smoothly, transition dynamically as user behavior changes, and feel like a living part of the app experience.
The Passive and Active Signal System captures the daily inputs that fuel the burnout score. Passive signals include self-reported sleep quality, stress, mood, energy, focus, and fatigue. Active signals include goals, habits, growth milestones, and completed tasks. All of these signals update the burnout risk percentage in real time.
The Hestiya Dashboard will display the user’s current flame state, their burnout percentage, their wellness score, their growth score, and personalized insights. This screen needs to feel clean, calm, and easy to understand, as it is the main touchpoint in the app.
You will also build a complete Goals and Habits module. This includes creating goals, attaching habits to them, tracking progress, showing streaks, and integrating these activities into the burnout engine as active growth signals.
The MyDay Scheduler is a guided daily planning tool that helps users structure their morning routine, daily tasks, priorities, time blocks, and end-of-day reflections. It should feel like a lightweight but purposeful daily OS that fits seamlessly into the burnout and growth framework of the app.
Additionally, the Hestiya MVP will include a Knowledgebase where users can browse curated articles and wellness content. This first version is reading-only and will be managed through an admin panel.
Finally, you will integrate authentication, user profiles, and subscription logic. Some users will subscribe to Hestiya directly, unlocking the entire platform. Others will start with a single professional app (like KenMD) and later upgrade. Your architecture must support both scenarios cleanly.
