Consultant for LiveKit / WebRTC & Voice-AI

We are looking for an experienced technical consultant with proven expertise in LiveKit/WebRTC and Voice-AI. This is a consulting role (not hands-on development) focused on architecture, feasibility, and strategic guidance for our real-time communication platform. Project Overview We are building a platform that will include real-time audio/video communication and Voice-AI features. We need a consultant who can evaluate our requirements, define the best technical architecture, and help us plan a clear path toward implementation. Responsibilities Advise on integrating LiveKit (WebRTC) into our platform Provide expertise on Voice-AI technologies (real-time STT, TTS, voice agents, low-latency pipelines) Compare and evaluate Voice-AI solutions (OpenAI, Deepgram, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Google, custom models, etc.) Define the architecture for: Audio routing LiveKit setup (Cloud or Self-Hosted) Latency optimization Device/network handling Identify risks, scalability requirements, and technical constraints Deliver a clear technical recommendation / architecture document (Optional) Continue as an advisor during implementation Required Experience Must-have: Demonstrated consulting experience in Voice-AI projects (e.g., real-time assistants, conversational voice bots, STT/TTS pipelines, AI-driven audio apps) Strong knowledge of LiveKit and WebRTC Deep understanding of: Real-time audio processing Codecs, TURN/STUN, data channels Cloud infrastructure and low-latency system design Ability to create clear, strategic technical plans Examples or references of past projects involving real-time audio + AI What We Expect Strategic guidance, not coding Clear communication and structured consulting Remote collaboration with regular check-ins Project Scope Initial consulting/analysis: 1–2 weeks Delivery of architecture + actionable recommendations Potential long-term advisory role To Apply Please include: Your experience with Voice-AI and LiveKit/WebRTC Examples of relevant projects Your consulting approach Hourly rate or fixed-price proposal Availability
