The Security Officer position includes responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure, and customer-focused environment within the establishment.
Stands guard at the entrance and monitors the arrival and departure of employees, customers, and visitors to prevent theft, robberies, and unauthorized access.
Ensures all company security procedures are followed.
Circulates throughout the establishment to maintain order, ensure safety, and protect company property.
Warns individuals who violate company rules and apprehends or removes violators from the premises when necessary, using reasonable force.
Conducts periodic exterior patrols to deter intrusion, identify suspicious activity or loitering, and reports findings to management and/or police.
Responds to alarms and investigates disturbances.
Notifies the police, fire department, or other authorities and assists with the safe evacuation of patrons during emergencies.
Reports all emergencies, incidents, or breaches of company policy verbally or in writing on request.
Provides friendly, professional, and helpful customer service at all times.
Greets every person entering the establishment.
Answers customer questions accurately and provides information on store policies.
Resolves customer concerns or directs customers appropriately.
Starts up all workstations at the beginning of the shift and reports any issues to the Cashier.
Reports all breaches or concerns to management promptly.
Works with the Cashier to ensure the store is clean at the beginning of the shift and conducts spot checks throughout the day to maintain tidiness.
Ensures water delivery accuracy.
Works with the Cashier to tidy the store.
Follows instructions and directives outlined in memos, notices, or store communications.
Attends company meetings and training sessions as required.
Performs any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
