Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Harbor Island for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will oversee the preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Daily tasks also include managing AP/AR/Income Audit/Petty Cash, budgeting processes, payroll, taxes, conducting financial analysis, and providing insights to support decision-making. The Financial Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports to assess the financial performance of the resort. The Financial Controller is expected to collaborate closely with department heads to drive revenue strategies, manage expense controls, and enhance financial acumen across the team. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required during month-end, quarter-end, year-end, audit cycles, weekends, and holidays.
