The PIT-GOB (Private, Independent & Transfer-In – GOB) Scholarships are awarded to Bahamian students, by a Consortium of colleges and universities in the United States and Canada in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Technical & Vocational Training.
The Ministry of Education, Technical & Vocational Training will award each selected Scholarship Recipient $7,500 – $11,000 per annum, for a maximum of four (4) years and participating Colleges and Universities will offer tuition waivers. Scholarships are available for studies at the Bachelor’s Degree level.
Applicants must be 12th grade students in a Bahamian private/independent High School (including Home Schools) or undergraduate students transferring from Tertiary Institutions. High School Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and possess a minimum of five (5) BGCSE passes at “C” grade or above. Tertiary students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above....
