Full Time Assistant Finance Human Resources

Job Description

Job Summary:            This role is responsible for efficient administration and processing of Human                          Resources and all associated tasks.

Job Description:         The scope of the job includes but is not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day to day administrative duties of the Human Resources department;
  • Assist with responding to resumes, coordinating interviews and preparing acceptance/rejection correspondence;
  • Create and keep updated HR records and files;
  • Perform all Workday duties as it relates to onboarding and terminations, benefits, and time offs;
  • Assist with processing pensions, insurance enrollments, terminations, additions, claims and employee change requests;
  • Assist in tracking and notifying management and employees of expiring probationary periods;
  • Calculate commissions for Sales Team Members;
  • Periodically provide administrative support for the procurement and finance teams;
  • Assist with the preparation of job letters;
  • Assist with the preparation of applications for the Department of Labor & Immigration with long/short term permits respectively;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining reports on employee demographics;
  • Ensure meeting / training room preparation, amenities and required materials are assembled in advance;
  • Assist with coordinating schedules, and arranging internal, external meetings;
  • Assist with the preparation of all staff notices as assigned by Human Resources
  • Record departmental minutes and ensure timely distribution when necessary;
  • Document human resources tasks by completing forms, reports, and logs;
  • Promotes the corporate and departmental brand;
  • Assist with all aspects of the Wellness Program as assigned by Human Resources;
  • Perform any other job-related tasks as required by Management.
