Job Description

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Bank of The Bahamas Limited, the institution of first choice in the provision of financial services, seeks to identify suitable candidates for the position of Executive Assistant.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares board reports and take minutes accurately
  • Maintains executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, appointments, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
  • Conducts research, compile data and assist with the preparation of presentations, and reports
  • Responsible for the distribution of mail
  • Produces information by recording, transcribing, inputting, editing, and transmitting text, and data
  • Conserves the executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence and other documents; drafts letters and collects and analyzes information
  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them in professional manner on the telephone or in person
  • Maintains office supply inventory
  • Files and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a business related area and a Professional Administrative designation (e.g. CPS)
  • Highly professional in demeanor
  • Sound judgment requires to handle high level office matter and treat information with confidentiality
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and work in ahigh pressured environment
  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with others
