Job Description

Job Title: Manager Fiduciary Investment Services

Position Summary:

A key member of Fiduciary Investment Services which: a.) reviews the portfolios of asset holding structures involving trusts, foundations, insurance, companies, agencies and private funds created by high net worth individuals, and the enterprise groups that they control, and; b.). Tracks the performance of portfolios of relationships where responsibility for investment decision making is outside of International Wealth

 Key Accountabilities

  • Understand the nature of the investment relationship.
  • Where IWS has overall responsibility, manage on a continuous basis portfolios within established firm guidelines.
  • Recommend an appropriate asset mix model, review and propose outside investment managers, and approved securities that fulfill objectives, regularly monitoring the portfolio to ensure it is meeting objectives against benchmark, and rebalancing as appropriate.
  • Work with Relationship Managers to ensure that all investment strategies, policies and principles are applied appropriately and that a communication plan for each relationship is developed and followed.
  • Meet Regulatory Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing and Bank Policies and procedures for Customer Transactions.

Educational/Competency Requirements:

Musts:

  • An understanding of financial markets and investments.
  • University Degree (with courses in Economic, Accounting and Finance); Enrollment in the CFA program; CSC; Series 7 or equivalent designation
  • Minimum 3 years direct experience with investment vehicles and interaction with beneficiaries, beneficial owners, and principles. This understanding must include expertise in investment returns, potential risks and structuring portfolios,
  • Understanding of financial analysis, portfolio structuring.
  • Global market perspective
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Client driven, deeply customer focused and results driven
  • Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP) is a plus.
