Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority ("URCA") is the independent regulator of the Electronic Communications Sector (comprising) broadcasting, radio spectrum and electronic communications) and the Electricity Sector in The Bahamas. URCA's mission is "improving lives through effective utilities regulations".

The successful candidate will provide general day-to-day HR support across the organization as part of the Human Resources and Administrative department in relation to all HR, Employee Benefits, Training and Development and compensation. Ensure efficiency and accuracy while providing a customer-focused and effective HR support service to the organization.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources or equivalent;
  • Minimum 4 years human resources experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
