Job Description

Job Title: Consumer Relations Assistant

The Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority ("URCA") is the independent regulator of the Electronic Communications Sector (comprising) broadcasting, radio spectrum and electronic communications) and the Electricity Sector in The Bahamas. URCA's mission is "improving lives through effective utilities regulations".

The successful candidate will provide point of contact service to consumers by answering inquiring and receiving complaints from consumers by phone, email, social media and walk-ins. The position also provides other administrative activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • Associate's Degree in communication, business administration or related discipline
  • At least three years' progressive work experience in customer service/ customer relations, social media engagement and or progressive experience in retail sales environment;
