About the Firm

The Deloitte in Bahamas team is dedicated to providing Audit, Consulting, Risk Advisory, Financial Advisory and Tax Services to clients across multiple industries in the banking, financial, private and public sectors. From our offices in Nassau and Freeport, our Bahamas offering extends across The Bahamas and The Turks & Caicos Islands. Our client service teams combine local knowledge from Deloitte in Bahamas with deep expertise from Deloitte’s international network in more than 150 countries. With approximately 70 professionals in The Bahamas, our integrated approach delivers keen insights and industry knowledge to clients. Program overview
By joining our summer internship program, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Deloitte’s vibrant and diverse organization and to work with people who are forward thinking and committed to making a difference. We are committed to growing the world’s best leaders, and our internship program is one of the many ways we offer future leaders a glimpse of our culture. An important part of the program are the skills that you will develop. You will have the opportunity to be coached by a Senior/Manager from your respective service line, meet industry leaders and work virtually alongside interns from the Deloitte Global network. This program offers a great opportunity to understand the culture at Deloitte while gaining invaluable work experience during your summer vacation.

Your role as an intern
We are looking for students with proven academic ability, who can demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork and excellent communication skills coupled with drive, initiative, energy and enthusiasm. Here’s what we can offer you:

  • 12 (maximum) weeks of paid employment
  • Real work experience as a junior resource with either our Tax, FAS, ERS, Consulting or Audit service lines
  • Opportunity to participate in our Deloitte Global Project initiative
  • On the job coaching and mentoring from an experienced Deloitte employee including guidance on your designation and career opportunities post-graduation


Expected experience
Successful interns will have:

  • Strong academic results (3.2 GPA or higher preferred)
  • A minimum of one year experienced from an accredited University, pursuing a degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or math preferred 
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to go above and beyond
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • A willingness to participate in Deloitte's strong culture of innovation
