Are you organized, curious, and ready to dive into the fast-paced world of procurement? We're looking for a Purchasing Assistant to help us keep our supply chain running smoothly — from sourcing great products to making sure they arrive on time.

This role is perfect for someone who loves spreadsheets and solving puzzles, enjoys working with people, and wants to make an impact behind the scenes.

 

What You'll Be Doing

Helping the Procurement Team Shine

  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers and gathering quotes like a pro.

  • Create and send purchase orders (yes, you'll be the one making things happen).

  • Follow up on orders to ensure everything arrives on time and in great shape.

Keeping Things in Stock (and in Order)

  • Keep an eye on inventory levels and give a heads-up when it's time to restock.

  • Work with the warehouse and inventory teams to track incoming goods.

Building Solid Vendor Relationships

  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure we’re getting great service and deals.

  • Help resolve any delivery mix-ups, delays, or surprises.

Staying Organized Like a Boss

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier information.

  • Keep procurement databases and systems up to date.

Supporting the Big Picture

  • Ensure procurement activities align with company policies.

  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and help track overall spending.

Adding the Admin Magic

  • Schedule vendor meetings and prepare purchasing reports.

  • Monitor supplier performance and help highlight any issues.

  • Communicate with managers and organize weekly meetings.

 

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Tech Savvy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), google sheets etc. 

  • Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or QuickBooks.

Soft Skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Creative problem-solver, especially when things don’t go as planned.

Team Spirit

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
