Battery Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Battery Technician who is honest, dependable, and customer-focused to join our team. This role involves inspecting, installing, maintaining, and replacing batteries for vehicles, equipment, and other power systems. The ideal candidate will also have some sales experience and be comfortable interacting with customers to recommend suitable battery products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and test battery systems in vehicles and equipment
• Install, service, and replace batteries as needed
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and safety checks
• Keep accurate records of service and inventory
• Assist customers in selecting the right battery solutions
• Upsell battery-related products and services when appropriate
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

 Requirements:

• Prior experience in battery services, auto tech, or a related field (preferred but not required)
• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proven honesty, reliability, and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and be trained on products and procedures
• Comfortable recommending products and services to customers, with some sales experience being a plus
