Position:       Senior Sales Account Executive

Location:      Nassau, Bahamas

 

Position Overview

As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and crafting unforgettable client experiences. This role combines high-level sales strategy with event planning leadership. You’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the planning phase of programs - from initial proposal through handoff to the operations team for execution.

Working closely with clients, you’ll develop tailored event concepts that align with their goals, budgets, and brand. Internally, you’ll collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure all elements are in place for seamless execution by our operations team. Your ability to balance strategic sales with detailed planning will directly impact client satisfaction and company revenue.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a strategic role in driving revenue and expanding our client base. Your focus will be on high-impact sales efforts, client relationship management, and seamless collaboration with internal teams.

  • Drive New Business – Identify and close new opportunities across corporate, incentive, and luxury travel sectors.
  • Strategic Sales Planning – Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Key Account Management – Nurture client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling – Maximize account value through premium service offerings and creative upsell strategies.
  • Proposal Development – Create customized, compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client objectives.
  • Operational Collaboration – Work closely with planning and production teams to ensure high-quality, cost-effective event delivery.
  • Industry Engagement – Represent the company at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to build pipeline.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting – Track KPIs, maintain accurate CRM data, and provide regular revenue forecasts.
  • Strategic Partnerships – Cultivate relationships with key vendors, hotels, and tourism partners.
  • Marketing Support – Partner with marketing to promote case studies, success stories, and sales campaigns.

Required Education and Experience

Qualifications

·         7–10 years of proven experience in sales leadership and event planning within the destination management, travel, tourism, or events industry.

·         Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience managing $2M+ in annual sales revenue.

·         Strong background in business development, strategic sales planning, and client relationship management.

·         Deep understanding of destination-based services, including local vendor sourcing, program design, and client-specific itinerary planning.

·         Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver customized proposals that align with client objectives.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred—but significant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
