Account Officer

Are you detail-oriented individual with passion for finance? If so, we are looking for a skilled Account Officer to support our day-to-day operations at Imperial Optical.

Imperial Optical is a Bahamian-owned and operated eyecare provider comprising of two conveniently located full-service branches in Nassau and equipped with a full-service optical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily financial records and prepare monthly reports.
• Process insurance billing and payments.
• Collaborate with management to monitor budgets and control expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and VAT reporting.
• Support inventory management and reconciliation processes.
• Address accounting and billing inquiries, payments, and other account issues.
• Monitor and administer activities related to employee compensation and benefits, including payroll, time, and attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or financial management is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in the use of accounting software and office tools like Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
