JOB TITLE : HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR
 
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Administrator plays a key role in supporting the HR department by managing day-to-day HR operations. This position is responsible for handling various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and payroll support. The HR Administrator acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, coordinates employee training, and ensures compliance with HR policies. With a strong focus on organization, communication, and attention to detail, this role contributes to the overall efficiency and success of the HR department. The HR Administrator ensures smooth HR operations by maintaining accurate employee records, resolving benefits-related issues, and assisting with performance reviews and terminations.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, ensuring effective utilization of HR programs and services.
  • Assist in the recruitment and interviewing processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews (when necessary)
  • Assist with the onboarding process, including organizing orientations and updating employee records
  • Coordinate and schedule HR-related meetings, interviews, and events.
  • Assist with employee performance reviews and the termination process.
  • Provide administrative support by responding to HR-related inquiries from internal and external parties.
  • Administer health and welfare benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, while resolving any related issues.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of benefits statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
  • Support the coordination of employee training sessions and development seminars.
  • Assist with payroll administration and ensure all payroll-related matters are addressed.
  • Produce and submit HR-related reports as required.
  • Handle general HR administration and coordination tasks, supporting the HR team as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
  • Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field, HR Certification, or equivalent HR experience preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Strong knowledge of database management and recordkeeping.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong follow-through and accuracy.
  • Proficient in relevant HR software and systems.
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources through work, internships, or academic experience.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, recruitment, selection, retention, EEO, benefits administration, labor relations, and affirmative action.
