About Us:
Bikini Bottom is an exciting new beachfront bar and restaurant set to open in the stunning paradise of Staniel Cay, Exumas. Designed as a vibrant hub for locals and visitors alike, Bikini Bottom will serve fresh, delicious food and tropical cocktails in a laid-back atmosphere with breathtaking ocean views. Currently under construction, we’re gearing up for an estimated Grand Opening in late spring/early summer.

About the Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage/Restaurant Manager to join us at Bikini Bottom and play a vital role in our pre-opening preparations and ongoing operations. This is a unique opportunity to be part of building something exceptional from the ground up while living and working in the idyllic Exumas.

Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening Duties:

• Collaborate with ownership to finalize operational strategies and setup.
• Assist in the hiring and training of staff in preparation for the opening.
• Oversee procurement of inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Post-Opening Duties:

• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, manage, and mentor staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain inventory control and manage ordering of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Monitor and control food, beverage, labor, and operational costs.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Coordinate special events, private functions, and reservations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and timely service.
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage/Restaurant Manager or similar role (minimum 5 years).
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, inventory management, and cost control.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
• Experience in a beach or island setting is a plus.
• Bahamian work permit eligibility is advantageous.
