The Opportunity:

As a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations you will be part of the leadership team to build the marketing automation function and help our business understand the full-funnel impact of leads. You will build a strategy from scratch, bring operational solutions for improvements to existing tools and platforms, recommend workflow integrations with data (e.g. Salesforce), and implement best practices that improve deliverability of marketing channels to show marketing attribution. You will cross-collaborate by partnering with marketing, product, field, sales operations and GTM teams to build your plans and work tactically to implement them which will be vital to support the business need to grow.


  • Build strategy to operationalize marketing automation tools and analytics
  • Understand customer behaviors that trigger acquisition, engagement, and retention, and create segmented and personalized marketing programs that promote desired behaviors
  • Identify opportunities for automating ingestion of data into Marketo and lead flow implementation into Salesforce
  • Understand the full-funnel lifecycle, including data handoffs between marketing and sales for data attribution
  • Create mechanisms to share performance with leadership and promote best practices with the broader teams
  • Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns to allow accurate forecasting
  • Build lead scoring and routing methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to account development reps for qualification, increasing efficiencies and conversion rates
  • Develop training and resources for existing tools highlighting opportunities for efficiencies
  • Ensure that best practices for data management and quality, workflow automation, lead scoring and lead nurture reporting are implemented and adapted


  • 8+ years marketing operations and automation experience; 3+ years in management
  • Marketing Automation Expert (Implementation, Integrations, Management)
  • Background and working knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce, Salesloft, Webinar Platforms, Website Chat, CMS Platforms, and other marketing automation tools
  • Experience with database structure, data hygiene, CRM workflows, analytics
  • Experience leading complex processes for large-scale automation platforms
  • Collaborative thinker to implement creative solutions for operational challenges
