Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel environment.
  • Education: High School Diploma required. College degree in Hospitality/Tourism or a related field preferred.
  • Language: Required to speak, read and write English. Fluency in other languages is an asset.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting up to 20 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of the daily arrivals and departure information: Internal communication with all necessary departments, announcing any arrival from airport, at the door, departing according to operational needs communicate with operations team when rooms are inspected and inform guests via Glowing.io, email, radio
  • Following up on daily queue rooms with housekeeping.
  • Responsible for room moves, blocking and re-blocking, out of order, out of service.
  • Review inventory availability daily to maintain straight line availability 30 days out
  • Balance room types daily based on availability and maintain the house fully balanced at least 14 days out.
  • Review straight line availability for 30 to 90 days out weekly with assistance of reservations team
  • Daily blocking of rooms for the week operation, accommodating special requests as possible, including connecting rooms, near request, etc.
  • Blocking of Site rooms, Residential sales sites and Hospitality Rooms.
  • Review out of order rooms with respective departments to determine estimated date of return to inventory.
  • Conduct ongoing training and roundtable discussions for Front office enhance upsell and e-upgrade programs.
  • Attend weekly meetings as needed (Revenue, Out of order, one of one with reservations & front office)
  • Block last minute bookings as needed.
  • Follow up on no shows as needed to re-block the rooms if guest will be showing up with reservations assistance.
  • Upgrade consortia reservations when available and add comments in reservations when done or not available.
  • Update Profiles and reservations pre-registered with Canary with all details provided.
  • Revise that Authorization Rules for arrivals are correct.
  • Revise that Routing instructions for Wholesalers, CTF and Casino reservations for arrivals are correct.
  • Revise that Comp rooms have the adequate support attached in the reservation.
  • Review departure billings to ensure that consortia credits are posted, and breakfast charges are adjusted.
  • Review Casino Comps and assist routing to proper account.
  • Assist with answering emails in the designated inboxes.
  • Review arrivals report and ensure that it updated for the PM Managers meeting.
