  • College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exposure to Financial or Hospitality accounting systems (Oracle/Symphony preferred)
  • Strong communication skills at all levels

Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar's Accounting Specialist provides accounting support and services related to income audit, payables, general ledger accounting and account reconciliation. They also assist with customer charge inquiries and research. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct audit and analyze financial reports, records and ledgers
  • Assist with General Ledger maintenance and reconciliations
  • Comply and perform necessary reports for routine external audits
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting as requested by management
  • Assist in overseeing the orderly storage and filing of hotel records
  • Reconcile and submit for payment Monthly and Quarterly Taxes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
