Beach Club Reception Concierge

Job Summary: 

The Beach Club Receptionist/Concierge is responsible for the overall guest experience by making them feel at home by extending a warm welcome, while to providing the highest degree of guest satisfaction during the check in and checkout process.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Beach Club Receptionist/ Concierge is responsible for, but not limited to the following: 

  • Prepare arrival information and packets for guests and team members.
  • Knowledgeable of menu and all product services.
  • Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Assist with special guest requests.
  • Extend appropriate greeting to all guests and crew at every opportunity using their names.
  • Adhere to the company’s standards regarding dress and appearance.
  • Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues.
  • Assists callers courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary and forwarding to the correct team member.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas. Follow all safety regulations during duty.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a beach club environment in a hotel or related industry.
  • Fluency in conversational English,
  • Guest Facing Experience
  • Customer service experience gained in a similar role is required.

 

SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft office suite skills

 

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with employees and guests.  
  • Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, managers, and co-workers. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Must be physically fit.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and think critically.
  • Previous work experience preferred.  

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
  • Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
  • May be requested to work a different shift.
