CAR DETAILER

Job Description:

This position focuses on maintaining, the appearance and condition of our new car inventory. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation, enhancing the customer experience and supporting our sales team.

​Duties & Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Perform deep cleaning of upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
• Inspect vehicles for any damage, dirt, or imperfections and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Apply protective finishes to the exteriors of vehicles, such as wax or sealants.
• Clean and polish chrome, windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Remove any protective plastic coverings and stickers from new vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized detailing area, ensuring all tools and supplies are stored properly.
• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Assist in moving and parking vehicles on the lot as needed.
• Provide support to the sales team by ensuring vehicles are presentable for customer viewing and test drives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in auto detailing or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical stamina, as the job requires standing, bending, and working in various weather conditions and on Saturday's.
• Valid driver’s license, Police Certificate
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
