Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Constantly conduct with colleagues line-ups and meetings.
• Supervise all slot operational activities
• Maintain and secure slot equipment; that they function properly and efficiently.
• Staff appropriately to ensure adequate floor coverage anticipating guest needs
• Ensure that all equipment functions properly and efficiently during the shift and report malfunctions to the Senior Slot Supervisor.
• Monitor daily operations to enhance workflow and to recommend, develop and implement solutions to operational challenges.
• Oversees compliance with all gaming regulations and accompanying internal controls as applied to the slot operations function inclusive, but not limited to safeguarding funds, reviewing documents for completion and accuracy and monitoring colleague activities.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all slot machines and instruction codes.
• Assist in the development of training programs. Trains all new employees, retrains existing employees and evaluates training programs to determine competence levels of employees.
• Provide Slot Management with input for the maintenance and updates of the operating manuals and training material for the department.
• Supervise all job tasks and delegate work to Slot Technicians and Slot Attendants.
• Assists Slot Director in hiring, scheduling, conducting performance evaluations and other employee support related functions.
• Plan meal and other breaks of slot operational staff to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Provide other Supervisors with details of the Attendants assigned areas of work on the casino floor, for each shift. Ensure fair and impartial rotation.
• Have a complete knowledge of facilities available to guests of the hotel.
• Ensure that all co-workers maintain a friendly and pleasant attitude at all times.
• Take disciplinary action where necessary informing Slots Management of such action as soon as possible.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and Casino Management to ensure floor cleanliness and adequate beverage service is provided.
• Observes, supervises and countersigns hand-paid jackpots and hopper fills when required.
• Inform surveillance of jackpot payouts as per the policy out lined in the Slots Operational Manual.
• Ensure that a daily activity log is completed to include including but not limited to, anomalies which may occur during the shift hand-paid jackpots of $5000 or above.
• Ensure that all slot staff's time and attendance records are accurate and updated every shift by the Slot Supervisors.
• Ensure that Gaming Board License Badge is worn, at all times while on property.
• Report all suspicious activities/ transactions to the Vice President of Casino Compliance
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to obtain a Gaming Board License in the Bahamas
High school diploma
Previous supervisory experience
Excellent interpersonal & verbal communication skills
