- 1 year + of experience in a restaurant greeter position or related field preferred
Description of ResponsibilitiesGrand Hyatt at Baha Mar's Greeter will be responsible for ensuring that guests are greeted cheerfully and seated; guests' checks processed in a timely manner, delivering outstanding guest service that exceeds guests' expectations for hotel dining experiences. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are "wowed" by Baha Mar's hospitality
- Leave guests with a lasting impression by greeting promptly upon arrival and thanking them upon departure
- Answer all questions and resolve any guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
- Deliver prompt, efficient and courteous service following Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar standards of excellence
- Attend the admissions desk and also be in charge to settle all pre-sale tickets for each night.
- Ensure guests have maximum comfort at all times while waiting
- Base on operation demands, assist VIP Host with checking in VIP Tables and placing wristbands on each guest for their specific sections and any other job duties as requested.
- Assist service staff when needed in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
- Ensure all areas are clean and tidy
- Answer calls using proper phone etiquette following Baha Mar standards
- Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
- Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
- Total compliance with Baha Mar's standards of operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
