Description of Responsibilities
Rosewood Baha Mar's Assistant Butler Manager will work together with the Butler Manager to lead the Butler team and coordinate exceptional guest experiences for Rosewood Baha Mar guests. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure that the Butler Service department, both in determination and daily planning, places emphasis on total guest care and satisfaction while focusing an efficient and profit related management at Rosewood at Baha Mar
• Attend to the daily tasks list and ensure their timely implementation
• Address all guest issues and concerns as related to the Butler team
• Formulate, plan, and adapt measures to curb pilferage
• Suggest and/or recommend on a continuous basis procedural improvements aimed to improve efficiency and service
• Maintain an excellent reputation on behalf of the guests and team members
• Maintain a friendly atmosphere with the team
• Maintain the Minimum Operating Standards and the Rosewood Baha Mar service standards
• Ensure that all rooms are examined prior to the arrival of guests and ensure that full rooming standards are correct and in accordance with the Rosewood Baha Mar amenities and set-up
• Ensure that amenities are replenished daily as per established Rosewood Baha Mar guidelines and the guests' wishes
• Coordinate with the Director of Housekeeping, Front Office Manager and the Chief Concierge in relation to the guests' needs
• Evaluate the areas where improvements are necessary and make suitable recommendations for the Butler team
• Promote positive guest relations at all times and build up rapport with internal and external guests to build up the recognition program
• Be aware of the general activity and special events in the Hotel
• Inspect the Clean Status of the suites for the VIP arrivals, Room Moves in coordination with the housekeeping team
• Demonstrate strong food and beverage knowledge and service standards, including but not limited to: -Room Service Presentations, Romantic Dinners and outlet menus
• Perform other duties as assigned
