Job Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in table games operations at a management level
And/or
- A Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Tourism or related discipline
Description of Responsibilities The Baha Mar Casino's Table Games Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the operation of a group of assigned tables within the pit. This role also involves coaching the dealers, providing feedback on performance and rating the play of our guests to ensure that all gaming procedures are being followed. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor the performance of all table game employees and provide training, coaching, counseling and discipline as necessary
- Provide and monitor on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure staff members receive adequate guidance, resources and information for superior job performance
- Maintain awareness of how each game stands with respect to player limits, special customers, gains/losses and dealer performance
- Oversee and assure high standards of customer courtesy on each game and work closely with other departments and casino staff members in this regard
- Participate in the facilitation of all table games tournaments in cooperation with the marketing department and special events
- Remain alert to any unusual or questionable activities displayed by players or employees and report such activities to the Pit Manager
- Observe participants in dice/card games to detect cheating, identify rule violators and observe persons designated by the Pit Manager
- Maintain the table's bankroll by taking ownership of a game/section and confirming the chip inventory on the game
- Ensure compliance with local currency transaction reporting requirements and suspicious activity reports
- Maintain the table bankroll by ordering fills/credits as necessary
- Sign in/out the Chip Tracking Card confirming the chip inventory amounts
- Control and direct games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction
- Maintain the integrity of the gaming equipment policy when circumstances dictate
- Report equipment in need of repair or replacement to the Pit Manager
- Recommend table limit changes to the Pit Manager
