Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cleans all public areas, corridors, employee, and public bathrooms daily according to established standards.
  • Cleans all restaurants daily, including artifacts, fans, vents, and louvers.
  • Cleans all carpets/hard floors daily by vacuuming, sweeping and/or wet mopping and dust mopping.
  • Removes chewing gum from carpets, hard floors, walkways, and pavements daily.
  • Cleans all Corporate, Executive and Administrative Offices daily.
  • Cleans all windows, mirrors, and glass daily.
  • Cleans all doors and door frames and expansion joints daily.
  • Light fixtures and globes inside and outside are to be free of dust, spots and cobwebs daily.
  • Cleans and scrubs corridors in front and back of house.
  • Cleans all sidewalks and walkways daily including picking up trash in adjoining areas.
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly within the department and that all malfunctions are reported to your manager in a short period of time, i.e., pressure washer, wet and golf cart.
  • Maximizing performance, reports all engineering irregularities to the manager and Espresso ext. 34 (i.e. malfunctioning bathroom fixtures, toilets, etc.)
  • Maintains clean elevators, including the service elevators, as well as, the tracks, mirrors, carpets, tiles, baseboards, light fixtures, indicator buttons and chromes.
  • Cleans and empties garbage bins daily. Keeps all walls and signs clean and free of debris, dust and graffiti.
  • Puts ice in urinals after cleaning them.
  • Cleans and wipes down stanchions daily.
  • Signs in and out for all communication devices.
  • Utilizes all communication devices provided by the company in the execution of the job.
  • Rotate, when necessary, between all Phases of the Water Park when performing cleaning duties.
  • Perform Public Areas cleaning duties in Phases 1, 2 or 3 including pathways, bridge areas and walkways as needed on a particular day.
  • Performs any other reasonable duties and projects per request by the supervisor within the scope of the job.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Minimum 1 year experience as hotel cleaner or in janitorial / cleaning position preferred
  • Must be literate with above average verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision
  • Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time
