POSITION: Brand Development Manager

DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing


Responsible for achieving supplier objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), and targets by developing and implementing strategies and tactics while managing and developing in-market customer relationships in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth.


  • Responsible for implementing and executing Brand Plans to maximize sales in retail accounts and drive sales and market share in trade accounts
  • Drive brand success via leadership by selling and actively motivating and supporting the selling efforts of sales reps, managers, and key account specialist within the organization
  • Monitor field implementation and execution of programs within the retail and trade accounts to ensure merchandising excellence - driving displays, size distribution, menu placements, shelf management, and signage
  • Regularly interact with field for updating programming and brand priorities, brand standards and best practices leading to successful execution in the market
  • Provide detailed tracking reports of our performance against agreed-to supplier objectives
  • Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results
  • Work with key assigned team members to deliver monthly goals (work-withs, product training, samples, etc.)
  • Create, coordinate, and attend on-site promotional and charitable functions at established customer accounts (e.g. events, managed bar nights, mixology events, and trade tastings)
  • Analyze brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develop strategies for assigned brand based on research and analysis.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


  • Proven working experience as Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager

  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives

  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns

  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix

  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind

  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Up to date with latest trends and marketing best practices

  • Degree in marketing or a related field
