Job / Advertisement Description

• Asist the Director of Casino Special Events & Marketing with coordinating all casino special events across the resort including the planning, organizing and managing of events to meet contractual obligations and the highest possible quality of guest service.
• Asist with directing and coordinate contractors, vendors and associated travel as necessary to successfully accomplish the special events at Atlantis (i.e. Rooms, Transportation, F&B, etc.)
• Generate all necessary material requests, check requests and support documentation to ensure all invoices are paid accurately and promptly.
• Asist the Director of Casino Special Events & Marketing with completing Internal Controls, Fact Sheets, Sops and e-Confirmations for all events, promotions and partnerships. Ensuring that all internal controls, policies and procedures are adhered to for the department and updated as needed.
• Ensures policies and procedures are established for all programs and events and are adhered to by all team members
• Assist with the planning of departmental budgets and scheduling.
• Asist the Director of Casino Special Events & Marketing with managing and allocating on-site amenities to casino guests.
• Assist the VP of Casino Services with booking casino guest accommodation, F&B reservations, transportation, and bespoke events - as and when required.
• Ensure that all on-property group trips including greeting group on island, departures, reservation coordination with VIP Services, dinning reservations, etc.
• Displays the highest standards of customer service at all times, welcoming customers in a polite, gracious and enthusiastic manner; paying attention at all times; anticipating and meeting their needs.
• Responds quickly and positively to guests' questions, requests, problems, and complaints and resolves them effectively and consistently.
• Maintains overall knowledge of the resort and provide proactive assistance to customers when appropriate using clear and concise conversation.
• Always smiles and engages our guests first, using their name when appropriate and maintaining eye contact at all times.
• Demonstrates departmental knowledge and efficiency at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Gaming Board License for the Casino
Minimum 2 years casino marketing experience
Proficiencies in the following computer applications:
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Lodging Management System (LMS)
Proven ability to plan, organize and execute requests
Strong leadership skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision
Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time
