          • A WES (World Education Services) evaluation is required of students who wish to receive undergraduate transfer credit at the University of Mississippi for any courses previously completed at a college/university (post-secondary education) outside of the USA.
          • In addition to submitting official transcripts of all course work completed at the higher educational level to the University of Mississippi, students must also arrange for their official transcripts from college/universities outside of the USA  to be submitted to WES.
          • While such an evaluation is not a requirement for admission per se, it is a requirement for the granting of undergraduate transfer credit at UM. You will find all the information you need at www.wes.org.
          • You can apply for your evaluation on the WES website, and should apply for the course-by-course evaluation. It is critical that you read and follow the “Required Documents” information specific to your country of study to ensure that your evaluation is completed as quickly as possible.
          • If your transcripts and diplomas are in languages other than English, you must provide a translation. Please make sure that University of Mississippi is listed as one of the recipients of the WES evaluation. Once all the required documentation has been received by WES, the evaluation usually takes 7 – 10 days.
          • (If you have not completed college/university (post-secondary) courses at an institution located outside of the USA, a WES Evaluation is not required.)
