Contracts Estimator & Project Sales Specialist

We Need You To:
• Be passionate. You generate sales by sharing your passion & knowledge with the customer. Your customers and clients are more than just sales
numbers- they are an opportunity to provide an incredible experience;from the first consultation to the final install.

• Be meticulous. You should be incredibly organized, detailed, and thorough. There is no room for error when supplying and installing architectural products for multi-million dollar projects.

• Be presentable. You will be representing the company in an attempt to win bids & obtain clients. Your presentation, ability to effectively communicate, keep organized, and arrive on time is key to ensuring this happens.

• Understand the importance of effective communication; with customers, suppliers, & co-workers. Honesty is the best policy and updates keep everyone happy and on track.

Your Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, project managers, and other key persons within the industry.

• To be readily available, willing, & motivated to close on a sale; always. There's no 'I'm off the clock' attitude with this position.

• To always be there for the customer. To provide support, advice, and answers in a timely and effective manner.

• To take measurements, make assessments, prepare quotes, provide insight & recommendations, organize installations, etc..

• To follow-up with customers as to assess overall satisfaction and generate new leads.

• To maintain a respectable 'close rate,' converting leads & quotes to closed sales.

• To keep and maintain accurate records, notes, & files on all jobs & customers that you've worked with in the past.

• To report on a regular and consistent basis to your Sales Team Manager.

• To work closely with our service & installation department to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for the customer.

Requirements / Experience:

• You Must be very tech savvy. We strive to make life easier by using new tech. Preference given to those that have experience with Slack, MS
Word, MS Excel, Zendesk, Trello, etc.

• Prior experience working with windows, doors, shutters, and other aluminum or glass architectural products.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for this position.

• You must be a critical thinker. Problem solving is key with this position, and you will be expected to problem solve when issues arise, and foresee issues before they occur.

• This position requires an understanding of architectural and construction administration services; including budgeting, planning, scheduling, shop drawings, etc.

• You must be familiar with building codes, materials, and estimating techniques. You must be able to read, interpret, and review construction
plans.

• Persons with skills or experience in project management, technical drawing, construction, creating & working within a set budget, etc will
be given preference.

• Persons with experience in project sales, estimating, and/or buying will be given preference.

• A tertiary level degree in a construction related field is preferred, but not required. 'Wow' us for being you, then tell us about your education.
