  • 5 years+ of management experience in Human Resources
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience with local and national human resources practices including the Labor Law and local regulations
  • Experience and knowledge of HRIS systems
Description of Responsibilities

Baha Mar's Human Resources Manager- Waterpark will be responsible for performing a wide variety of high level human resource/personnel work including planning, developing, and recommending new or revised HR policies and programs, goals, and objectives. This role also involves gathering and analyzing trends and data; supervising and coordinating the maintenance of the classification and pay plans. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Plan, organize, administer, review, and evaluate the day-to-day activities of the position classification and pay administration, compensation, employee records administration, benefits administration, and employee counseling programs
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and service delivery for assigned divisions, and develop and install improvements to ensure maximum service delivery with available resources
  • Develop and interpret human resources policies
  • Make presentations regarding the plans and programs of assigned departments at meetings, administrative hearings, and related functions
  • Responsible for staffing, team member education and training, management development, compensation and benefits, employment contracts
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of the budget for the HR department
  • Supervise professional and technical staff and the technical programs within the department which includes assigning work activities and projects, monitoring the workflow, and reviewing and evaluating work products, methods, and procedures
  • Develop database; gather and analyze trends and data, prepare reports and formulate recommendations regarding specialized Human Resources activities
  • Develop short and long-range plans for the delivery of human resource services to all departments and develop progressive human resource programs and practices to implement these short and long-range plans
  • Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations related to departments and evaluate their impact on the operation
  • Develop and implement required policies and/or operations modifications to assure conformance with changes in laws and regulations
  • Conduct complex human resources investigations as they relate to discrimination, sexual harassment, and other employee related matters
  • Ensure that assigned team members perform their duties and responsibilities in a safe and prudent manner that does not expose them or others to unnecessary harm or risk of on-the-job injury
  • Perform other duties as assigned
