Baha Mar Casino's HR Manager will work together with the Assistant Director of Casino HR in performing a wide variety of high level human resource/personnel work including planning, developing, and recommending new or revised HR policies and programs, goals, and objectives.

What you will also have already accomplished:

  • College Degree in Business, Hospitality, or Related field required
  • 5 years+ of management experience in Human Resources
  • Strong working knowledge of and experience with local and national human resources practices including the Labor Law and local regulations
  • Experience and knowledge of HRIS systems

Description of Responsibilities
Baha Mar Casino's HR Manager will be responsible for performing a wide variety of high level human resource/personnel work including planning, developing, and recommending new or revised HR policies and programs, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and service delivery for assigned divisions, and develop and install improvements to ensure maximum service delivery with available resources
  • Develop and interpret human resources policies
  • Work with the Assistant Director of Casino HR to ensure the maintenance of screening and interviewing candidates in accordance with the Baha Mar's recruitment campaign
  • Make presentations regarding the plans and programs of assigned departments at meetings, administrative hearings, and related functions
  • Supervise professional and technical staff and the technical programs within the department which includes assigning work activities and projects, monitoring the workflow, and reviewing and evaluating work products, methods, and procedures
  • Work along with the Compliance department and MLRO to direct the preparation of information requested or required for gaming compliance while enforcing the implementation of required policies and/or operations modifications to assure conformance with changes in laws and regulations
  • Develop database; gather and analyze trends and data, prepare reports and formulate recommendations regarding specialized Human Resources activities
  • Develop short and long-range plans for the delivery of human resource services to all departments and develop progressive human resource programs and practices to implement these short and long-range plans
  • Develop and implement required policies and/or operations modifications to assure conformance with changes in laws and regulations
  • Conduct complex human resources investigations as they relate to discrimination, sexual harassment, and other employee related matters
  • Ensure that assigned team members perform their duties and responsibilities in a safe and prudent manner that does not expose them or others to unnecessary harm or risk of on-the-job injury
