What you will also have already accomplished:
  • High School Diploma
  • Maintenance experience preferred
  • Hospitality/Tourism resort experience preferred

Description of Responsibilities
Baha Mar's Engineer I will work together with the Engineering Manager to maintain the general operations, safety and security of the waterpark's facilities, furnishings, and equipment; ensuring guests' expectations for the hotel are exceeded.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Optimum delivery of maintenance processes and services, balancing a pragmatic approach with the need to consistently deliver services to a standard of excellence
  • Perform all daily maintenance requests and report any unfinished work to management
  • Inspect all facilities, furnishings and equipment for proper functioning on routine basis
  • Work with tools, ladders, and maintenance supplies according to the waterpark's standards to ensure positive guest experience
  • Support maintenance inspection processes, forward feedback to management
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • Manage time efficiently to meet commitments
  • Follow all required health, safety and standard operating procedures
  • Report all suspicious persons, actions, hazardous conditions etc. to security
  • Greet guests encountered in a friendly manner
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Baha Mar's standards of operation
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
