Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Food and Beverage

Reports to:  Director of Food and Beverage

SLS at Baha Mar’s Administrative Assistant – Food and Beverage will work together with the Director of Food and Beverage to maintain a smooth operation with the highest efficiency for all Food and Beverage outlets at SLS at Baha Mar.

What you will also have already accomplished:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in an office and/or support environment  

    Description of Responsibilities

    SLS at Baha Mar’s Administrative Assistant – Food and Beverage will work together with the Director of Food and Beverage to maintain a smooth operation with the highest efficiency for all Food and Beverage outlets at SLS. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Create administrative procedures to maximize efficiency and flow of work for the SLSt at Baha Mar Food and Beverage team
  • Keep all administrative records for the Director of Food and Beverage
  • Follow up on all projects or promotions assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage
  • Transcribe, format, input, edit, retrieve, copy and transmit text, data and graphics
  • Read, research, draft letters and documents, collect and analyze information and route correspondence
  • Maintain schedules; schedule meetings, travel and conferences
  • Welcome guests and associates in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries
  • Secure information by completing database backups
  • Develop and utilize filing and retrieval systems and record minute discussions for the Director of Food and Beverage
  • Maintain office supplies, anticipate needed supplies and place orders accordingly
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
  • Stay current on Food and Beverage industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
