Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s Concierge Supervisor will work together with the Assistant Guest Services Manager to supervise the hotel Concierge Desk ensuring the highest level of personalized, friendly and outstanding guest service that exceeds guests’ expectations for the hotel experience.

What you will also have already accomplished:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years+ of experience in Concierge, Front Desk or VIP Services

Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s Concierge Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the hotel Concierge Desk ensuring the highest level of personalized, friendly and outstanding guest service that exceeds guests’ expectations for the hotel experience. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Supervise Concierge Desk to provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s hospitality
  • Pro-actively anticipate guests’ needs and personalize the delivery of services to meet the individual needs of each guest
  • Supervise staff and make sure team leaves guests with a lasting impression by treating all guests with the utmost courtesy, providing prompt, personalized and friendly service
  • Review all itineraries to ensure requests are met
  • Provide personal services of the highest level that may include restaurant reservations, recreation requests, floral orders, shoe shine, etc. 
  • Ensure staff answers calls using proper phone etiquette following Baha Mar standards
  • Assist in managing associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing
  • Maintain clean and organized Concierge Desk  equipped with maps, menus and other guests materials
  • Ensure guests have maximum comfort at all times
  • Resolve any guest requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Interact with guests always displaying proper etiquette following Baha Mar standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Recommend tactics to consolidate and streamline guest operations
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
