Reports to:       Director of Food and Beverage 

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s Food & Beverage Manager will work together with the Director of Food & Beverage to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals to ensure employees’ expectations for their employee dining experiences are exceeded.

What you will also have already accomplished:


  • Has two (2) years of hospitality industry experience required, educational experience considered
  • The ability to maintain a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
  • Superior organizational and follow up skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Has an exceptional personality, attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be polished, professional, friendly, and have the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Strong email, PC and Internet skills - including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Dedication and willingness to go above and beyond in a hospitality driven environment
  • Strong guest service, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and leadership skill 

Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s F&B Manager will work together with the Director of Food & Beverage and is responsible for ensuring that the food and beverage outlets operate profitably and efficiently and to maintain the consistency of high food and service standards in the food and beverage department. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assists with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and retention
  • Evaluate and develop processes to maintain and improve performance and productivity
  • Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety and sanitation
  • Directly responsible for the coaching and development of venue staff
  • Administers progressive discipline and attendance points according to company policy
  • Defines Employee Standards of Conduct and ensures employee compliance
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including floor management, staff management and the guest experience
  • Understands P&L analysis, develops processes to maintain and improve performance
  • Assists with creation and maintenance of procedural protocol for venue operations
