What you will also have already accomplished:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years+ of Front Desk experience 

Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the seamless experience of all guests by providing exceptional levels of guest service that exceeds guests’ expectations for the hotel experience, while maximizing room revenue and productivity. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise Front Office to provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s hospitality
  • Ensure Front Desk offers pleasant and efficient guest registration, checkout, guest service and telephone service
  • Supervise staff and make sure team leaves guests with a lasting impression by treating all guests with the utmost courtesy, providing prompt, personalized and friendly service
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk systems and equipment to ensure optimum performance
  •  Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees
  • Ensure compliance of the front office, guest service and standard operating procedures and policies
  • Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenues while exceeding guest expectations of room preparedness
  • Develop strong relationships with the sales team to discuss and implement strategies to continually improve occupancy levels, revenues and guests satisfaction
  • Resolve any guest requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Interact with guests always displaying proper etiquette following Baha Mar standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Recommend tactics to consolidate and streamline guest operations
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
