Job Title:          Hotel Space Cleaner

Reports to:       Housekeeping Supervisor  

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s Hotel Space Cleaner will work together with the Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain the overall cleanliness of public areas of Grand Hyatt hotel; ensuring guests’ expectations for the hotel are exceeded.

What you will also have already accomplished: 

  • High School Diploma
  • Hospitality/Tourism resort experience preferred
  • Housekeeping experience preferred

Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s House Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all public areas of Grand Hyatt hotel; ensuring guests’ expectations for the hotel are exceeded. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s hospitality and cleanliness
  • Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and upkeep hotel interior and/or exterior
  • Clean all public areas of the Grand Hyatt hotel with the proper chemicals/tools according to hotel standards to ensure positive guest experience
  • Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • Clean and restock public restrooms
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • Resolve any guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Manage time efficiently to meet commitments
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
