Job Title:          House Attendant

Reports to:       Housekeeping Supervisor

 

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar's House Attendant will work together with the Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Operations Manager to provide support and service to the room attendants and to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel to offer a clean, safe and fun experience for hotel guests; ensuring guests’ expectations for the hotel are exceeded.

What you will also have already accomplished:

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Hospitality/Tourism resort experience preferred
  • Housekeeping experience preferred

 

Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar's House Attendant will be responsible for providing support and service to the room attendants and maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel to offer a clean, safe and fun experience for hotel guests; ensuring guests’ expectations for the hotel are exceeded. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s hospitality
  • Present a clean, orderly, attractive, and safe environment for guests and staff
  • Sweep and wash floors, vacuum carpet, wash walls, dust furniture and fixtures and clean ashtrays
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas
  • Deliver miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and deliver linen and supplies to guest floors
  • Deliver amenities and special requests to guest rooms upon instruction
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Pick up bed and other linen from hotel floors, transport to laundry and deliver fresh linens
  • Push and pull carts and equipment on a regular and continuing basis
  • Resolve any guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
