Reports to:      Housekeeping Team Leader

Grand Hyatt’s Room Attendant will work together with the Housekeeping Team Leader to maximize guest housekeeping service satisfaction to ensure hotel guests find their rooms to be neat and clean at the start and end of each day exceeding expectations.

What you will also have already accomplished:


  • High School graduate preferred
  • 1+ year of Housekeeping experience preferred
  • Hospitality or casino experience preferred


Description of Responsibilities

Grand Hyatt’s Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for maximizing guest housekeeping service satisfaction to ensure hotel guests find their rooms to be neat and clean at the start and end of each day exceeding expectations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s hospitality
  • Clean the hotel room quickly, efficiently and neatly, and maintaining neat and clean carts, storage rooms, equipment and supplies
  • Survey rooms after checkout and take note of any damages or missing items
  • Clean all windows and mirrors, dust, and clean and sanitize bathrooms
  • Vacuum and clean carpeted areas and behind furniture
  • Ensure that every room is clean and everything in room is in place and in proper working order
  • Clean and maintain workstation, including stocking workstation with sheets, pillowcases, towels and all amenities
  • Ensures all linens and towels are clean and without defect
  • Complete daily housekeeping reports
  • Properly report and turn in all lost and found items
  • Report all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling
  • Ensure supply rooms are adequately stocked with all amenities and linens
  • Maintain and clean all equipment used throughout the course of a shift
  • Resolve any guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests encountered in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Stay current on trends in housekeeping services industry
  • Perform other duties as assigned
