Job Summary

Responsible for providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

Performs all pre-shift side-work as specified by the Manager.
Acknowledges and greets guests in a friendly, professional manner while ensuring that guest interactions are efficient, expedient and personalized.
Ensures that all guest requests for information or service are followed through until guest satisfaction is achieved.
Records accurately guest orders on Point-of-Sale terminal and repeats order to guest for clarification before printing.
Ensures exchange of money for goods is efficient, expedient and accurate.
Provides quality beverages, whole bean and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area throughout shift through removal of trays and trash from existing tables and wiping them clean. Performs light cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping and wiping counter areas when required.
Maintains a complete knowledge of all menu items, preparation methods, and ingredients.
Check supplies in counter area and re-stock items to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
Perform daily reconciliation procedures at shift end and deposit funds/checks at general cashiers office.

Requirements

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
Minimum of 1 year restaurant experience
Food Handler’s Certificate
