Job Title: SLS Pool Manager

Reports to: Assistant General Manager

SLS at Baha Mar’s Pool Manager will work together with the Assistant General Manager to develop and implement a resort lifestyle that delivers exceptional guest services and rewarding experiences that leave a lasting impression.

What you will also have already accomplished:

College Degree in Hospitality or related field
3 years+ of management experience in Resort Services
Must have hospitality or casino related Resort Services experience

Description of Responsibilities

SLS at Baha Mar’s Pool Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a resort lifestyle that delivers exceptional guest services and rewarding experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Optimum delivery of all pool and recreation services, balancing a pragmatic approach with the need to consistently perform to a standard of excellence
Increase brand dominance and association by creating memorable guest experiences meeting standards of excellence while generating revenue
Ensure guests are given timely, friendly and courteous service at all times
Manage the selection, purchasing, storage, inventory, maintenance and usage of all related pool and recreation services supplies and equipment
Evaluate pool and recreation facility needs and keep the Assistant General Manager informed of repair projects needed to maintain the safety and beauty of the pool and recreation areas
Suggest new techniques of service for maximum guest satisfaction at minimum operating costs
Build and manage a world class pool and recreation services department
Monitor and control budget expenditures
Follow all pool and recreation safety practices, procedures and regulations
Uphold company’s key values and brand standards to encourage team to maintain culture of excellence and achieve top results
Investigate and resolve any guest complaints
Evaluate popularity of pool and recreation services options and develop new programming based on guest feedback and industry trends
Ensure seamless flow of information between pool and recreation services teams
Stay current on pool and recreation and resort services industry trends
Perform other duties as assigned
