Job Description

Job Summary

  • Responsible for developing and implementing best-in-class selection and recruitment programmes. Able to identify individual and organizational talent needs in line with HR people strategy and functional capability and people programmes.Supports the HR Director to develop the OpCo's people plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as lead recruiter and talent acquisition subject matter expert;
  • Develops effective organizational recruitment strategies and processes;
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements;
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules;
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications;
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport;
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites;
  • Partners with hiring managers and HRBPs to effectively source and assess candidates;
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications;
  • Makes sound hiring recommendations;
  • Manages company's applicant tracking and on-boarding systems/processes;
  • Develops and manages company's emerging college recruitment efforts and summer internship program;
  • Provides oversight for internal posting and application process;
  • Develops appropriate recruitment reports and performance metrics;
  • Assists with workforce planning efforts and succession planning;
  • Partners with HR and Marketing teams on employment branding initiatives;
  • Stays abreast of evolving recruitment practices; effectively utilizes recruitment best practices.
  • Assist with HR related projects;
  • Fully supports organization's Mission and Vision; consistently exhibits and champions organization's values;
  • Performs any other reasonable duties as requested;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in recruitment with (preferably) a minimum of two years as the recruitment lead;

Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of recruitment strategies, processes and best practices;
  • Proven success with high volume recruitment;
  • Previous HR business partnering experience;
  • Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with the HR department and other internal client groups;
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external clients;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced work environments;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
