Job Title:  In Room Dining Order Taker- SLS

Reports to: In Room Dining Manager

SLS at Baha Mar’s In Room Dining Order Taker will work together with the In Room Dining  Manager to provide guests with In Room Dining experiences, offering suggestions and recommendations on menu items and wine pairings, ensuring guests’ expectations for their meals are exceeded.

What you will also have already accomplished:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year + of order taker or server experience preferred
  • Hospitality/Tourism experience preferred

Description of Responsibilities

SLS at Baha Mar’s In Room Dining Ordertaker will work together with the In Room Dining  Manager to provide guests with In Room Dining experiences, offering suggestions and recommendations on menu items and wine pairings, ensuring guests’ expectations for their meals are exceeded.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” bySLS at Baha Mar’s hospitality
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of food and beverage, make recommendations to ensure guest satisfaction, while producing maximum revenues from orders
  • Take and process in room dining orders in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Stay informed of menu item availability
  • Complete In Room Dining paperwork to ensure proper billing of all charges to appropriate guest accounts
  • Dispatch bussers or server to handle guest requests
  • Answer all questions and resolve any guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with SLS at Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
