Job Title:          Public Areas Attendant

Reports to:       Public Areas Manager

Baha Mar’s Public Areas Attendant will work together with the Public Areas Manager to clean and maintain assigned public areas of the hotel; ensuring guests’ expectations for the Resort are exceeded.

What you will also have already accomplished:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ year of cleaning attendance experience preferred
  • Hospitality/Tourism resort experience preferred

Description of Responsibilities

Baha Mar’s Public Area Attendant will work together with the Public Areas Manager to clean and maintain assigned public areas of the Hotel; ensuring guests’ expectations for the Resort are exceeded. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide dynamic services to ensure guests are “wowed” by Baha Mar’s hospitality and cleanliness
  • Clean all public areas of the Hotel, including restrooms, with the proper chemicals/tools according to hotel standards to ensure positive guests’ experience
  • Perform tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, washing windows and aquarium glass, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Clean and restock public restrooms
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
  • Resolve any guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Manage time efficiently to meet commitments
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Baha Mar’s standards of operation
  • Stay current on hospitality best practices and industry trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
