Job Title:          Casino Scheduling Clerk

Reports To:     Casino Scheduling Supervisor

Baha Mar Casino’s Scheduling Clerk will work together with the Casino Scheduling Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day departmental tasks of assigning the appropriate number of casino personnel to accommodate casino needs and maximize internal guest service.

What you will also have already accomplished:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1 year + of casino scheduling or related experience preferred

 Description of Responsibilities

Baha Mar Casino’s Scheduling Clerk will work together with the Casino Scheduling Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day departmental tasks of assigning the appropriate number of casino personnel to accommodate casino needs and maximize internal guest service.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Optimum delivery of casino scheduling processes and services, balancing a pragmatic approach with the need to consistently deliver services to a standard of excellence
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of daily schedules and work assignments for casino staffing using company scheduling software
  • Schedule and coordinate casino staffing levels to provide appropriate coverage and fulfill assigned tasks
  • Communicate to the Casino Admin & Analysis team in a timely manner when known scheduling conflicts arise
  • Prepare and type correspondence, reports, forms, charts and graphs
  • Notify management of staffing level issues as needed
  • Report to Casino Scheduling Supervisor at the end of each day to summarize the day’s activities
  • Uphold the highest standards of courtesy and conduct exceeding expectations
  • Total compliance with Baha Mar’s safety requirements and standards of operation
  • Stay current on trends in casino scheduling industry
  • Perform other duties as assigned
