Job Summary

  • Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company's products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote/sells/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist. them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Plan and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market to generate new business for the organization's products/services.
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Take charge of incremental sales at targeted outlet levels
  • Implement promotional activities and ensure the promotions are executed according to guidelines.
  • Negotiate, encourage and initiate volume-driving promotions with targeted outlets, in conjunction with sales manager and brand manager.
  • Coordinate with brand manager the installation of material and equipment need for promotions to ensure successful event.
  • Monitor competitive promotional activities and report in the weekly sales meeting.
  • Ensure availability of all BHG SKU's according to availability and outlets segmentation guidelines.
  • Coordinate the current and new product information to your customer
  • Ensure sufficient stock on delivery days for whole portfolio
  • Take responsibility for merchandising outlets in your customer base
  • Coordinate and initiate visibility opportunities with your sales manager and with the brand manager's support or input
  • Execute shelf management and cooler setting at selected outlets based on Green Book guidelines.
  • Execute visibility objectives according to the primary, secondary, and tertiary image objectives.
  • Monitor competitive promotional and visibility developments and report information in your customer call check list and in the weekly sales meeting
  • Execute brand manager visibility plan according to guidelines and specifications.
  • Ensure correct price structure for brands in the market.
  • Implement effective pricing communication
  • Manage accounts receivable for all credit accounts.
  • Ensure customer adherence to credit arrangements.
  • Follow up on contracts and ensure customer is abiding with the agreement, if not bring the matter to the sales manager's attention.
  • Complete all required reports and submit within the stipulated deadline period.
  • Perform any other reasonable and customary duties


  • College Degree - Ideally with a commercial background.  
  • Sales, Marketing or Trade Marketing experience is beneficial.
