Primary Responsibilities The Soft Play Agent is a dynamic and multifaceted customer service role responsible for executing a variety of entry-level tasks at the Fusion Superplex. Assignments and functions include child care, arcade gaming, customer service, sales, food service, cashiering, maintenance, cleaning, and event hosting.   Incumbents must enjoy working with children. Agents should always display a warm, friendly and engaging demeanor, welcoming and assisting guests with high-energy, a sense of fun and enthusiasm. The Soft Play Agent must maintain accurate and extensive knowledge of the products and services available at the Fusion Superplex, as well as future events and offerings within the facility. The Soft Play Agent must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must be skilled in problem solving and critical thinking. While the Soft Play Agent works predominantly in the Soft Play and Arcade areas, the incumbent can be assigned to work in all other areas in the Entertainment Division. Essential Functions -           Assists guests with the use of all products in the Soft Play and Arcade area.   Including check-in/check-out of Soft Play, distributing redemption prizes, explaining and demonstrating the proper use and operation of Soft Play equipment, Arcade games and technology, and assisting guests with malfunctioning machines. -           Performs minor repairs and maintenance on arcade machines per the standard operating procedures. -           Initiates and follows through with the maintenance process for defective and/or out-of-order machines including, placing appropriate signage on machines. and returning money lost in defective machines to guests. -           Notifies the maintenance department of defective machines, records times of machine malfunctions and repairs to maintain required records. -           Monitors and observes the conduct of guests while using the Soft Play and Arcade facility to ensure safety, orderliness, and the enjoyment of all guests. -           Enforces safety procedures in a courteous and professional manner. When necessary, involving management to assist with addressing particularly difficult guests. -           Completes opening and closing procedures as assigned and/or instructed by management. -           Maintains accurate product knowledge of all Fusion Superplex offerings, including pricing. -           Greets guests and assists with guests’ queries, complaints and concerns. Assists guests with finding seats, locating lost articles, providing directions to locations within the facility, and answering questions about the facility, product offerings and events. -           Takes ownership of customers’ issues and complaints and follows problems through to resolution. -           Collects tickets and admission passes for movies and other experiences and ensures that guests adhere to the correct seat assignments. -           Assists with maintaining excellent presentation quality and audio-visual experiences by monitoring and documenting the performance of projection and audio-visual equipment and immediately reporting breaches using the defined response protocols. -           Conducts tours of the facility for guests. -           Performs sales activities for movie and event tickets including providing information on movies and events, assisting guests with seat selection, entering guest information into the Point of Sale (POS) system, upselling products, and issuing accurate and verified tickets to guests. -           Executes tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Box Office.
